Dear SADSF Family,

As we approach the close of another remarkable year and the warmth of the festive season draws near, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every member of the SADSF family.

From our athletes and coaches to staff, volunteers, and supporters, you are the heartbeat of our Federation.

Highlights from 2025

Team South Africa at the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics (15–26 November) Our delegation competed with strength and pride across multiple disciplines, including swimming, athletics, table tennis, and golf. Standout performances came from swimmers like Mark Roach, Amkele Qamaran, and James Willers, who reached semifinals and finals. Across the board, our athletes embodied excellence and Deaf Pride.

National Deaf Sports Trials – Golf (24–26 March)

Held at the King David Mowbray Golf Club, this event highlighted the depth of talent in Deaf golf and helped shape our pool for international competition.

National Deaf Championships – Durban (25-28 March)

A powerful showcase of athleticism and spirit across athletics, table tennis, and chess. SADSF continues to operate at a high level and exceed expectations, proudly supporting active participation across all regions.

Each event this year, whether national or international demonstrated our resilience, unity, and unwavering commitment to growth.

A Season of Celebration and Renewal

As we prepare to celebrate Christmas and welcome the new year:

May our shared bonds grow stronger with kindness and care.

May the spark of hope guide our mission.

May every athlete feel empowered to pursue their dreams in 2026.
